Types of Creatures Allowed: Dholes (Asiatic wild dogs) and their hybrids, wolves allowed but not preferred
Special Powers Allowed: No
Activity: Slow
Roleplaying Level/s/: Intermediate to Advanced
Intro/Plot: Akigawa is a semi realistic role playing site. It features the asiatic wilddogs, or dholes, that live in the indo-china and russian areas. We accept intermediate to advanced role players.
There are four main packs:
Hazumimori is a passive, peace-loving pack. The dholes are timid and prefer to live in seclusion. However, if provoked, they will fight back most fiercely. They reside in the southern parts of the Inu Pack lands and enjoy mild weather year round.
Natsushima is a somewhat aggressive pack of strangely quiet dogs. They are fierced hounds, lashing out with both words and fangs when provoked...and they are easily...provoked. They live in the southernmost regions of the pack lands where weather varies greatly. In the summer season, it is hot and humid with occasional droughts. Winters are mild here and comfortable for the dholes.
Akigawa is a pack of calm and kind hounds. These dholes prefer to be mysterious and secretive in their doings and are fierce battle doers. They live in the north eastern regions of the Inu pack landsand enjoy comfortable climate conditions. Fresh water in this area is plenty from the Copper River. There are four distinct seasons. Spring is mild, summer slightly warm, autumn is quite beautiful and comfortable, and winters are cold yet not frigid.
Yukihoshi is a pack of mysterious dholes. They are shy and full of mystery. They will not feel obligated to use their fangs and rip you to shreds though... The pack is located in the arctic north of the pack lands. The winters are quite cold in these lands but summers are enjoyable. Fresh water is provided by the tributaries of the Copper but some small ones freeze up completely in the winter season.
These four packs were formally known as the Kitakawa Inu Pack, lead by a fierce and wise alphess by the dubbance of Cherokee. When she passed on, inter-pack battles between the pack members on a vicious quest for power broke the pack into four.
Saiyumaru, a ginger male lead his supporters south to form the Hazumimori Inu, or Spring Forest Dog Pack.
Kaiyamiko, a blood red femme lead her group to the southernmost tip of the Inu pack lands to form the Natsushima Inu, or Summer Island Dog Pack.
Akasumi, a copper she-dog lead her pack to the northeastern point to form the Akigawa Inu, or Autumn River Dog Pack.
Sumisaki, a light hued fae lead headed north with her clan. They reached the arctic icy borders and formed the Yukihoshi Inu, or Winter Star Dog Pack.
Seasons have passed now and new leaderships have taken place...but will the packs ever forget their ancient leader's disagreements? Will they remember that they used to live as one true dog pack? Or is the past behind them forever now...?
Pack relations are currently neutral. But will future disagreements form new prospects of war...? Come and find out...
Other: An audition is required
